Hi, my name is Oluwaseun (Seun) and I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology, advised by Prof. Yu Cheng. I joined Prof. Cheng’s FUture Networking laboratory (FunLab) in Spring 2021 and have been conducting research in the areas of machine learning, wireless network optimization, age of information optimization, cloud/edge computing, and AI for science. Most of my papers are published in top-tier IEEE journals and conferences/workshops. In FunLab, our research is FUN! 😃

📣 As I prepare to graduate in Spring 2026, I am open to job opportunities in the following categories: 1) Tenure-track Assistant Professor in a U.S. University, 2) Postdoctoral Research Fellow in a U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratory, and 3) Research Engineer/Scientist in a Leading Industry.
