• May 2025: I was awarded a Student Travel Grant for the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Communications held in Montréal, Canada (See photos).
• April 2025: I passed the PhD comprehensive exam for the Electrical Engineering PhD program at Illinois Institute of Technology.
• January 2025: Our paper titled “Split Federated Learning for AIGC with Resource Cognition in Collaborative Mobile Edge Computing” got accepted in the IEEE ICC 2025 Conference.
• May 2024: Our paper titled “Large Language Model Based Machine Learning Approach for Fake News Detection” got accepted in the IEEE ICMC 2024 Conference.
• April 2024: I participated in the Student Research Poster competition at the 2024 ECE day and won the Best Presentation Award for Ph.D. Research in Networks & Communications as second place.
• December 2023: Our paper titled “An Analytical Approach for Minimizing the Age of Information in a Practical CSMA Network” got accepted in the IEEE INFOCOM 2024 Conference.
• October 2023: I gave a presentation and training on how to prepare the final reports for the SoReMo project for publication in the SoReMo journal.
• September 2023: I was awarded the SoReMo "Fellow Mentor" position to work with SoReMo faculty and Fellows, to drive the creation and delivering materials that will help guide undergraduate and graduate students in successfully completing the SoReMo fellowship.
• September 2023: I was selected as one of the recipients of the Student Travel Grant to attend the 2023 ARA Public Launch event at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
• June 2023: Our paper titled “Self-Renewal Machine Learning Approach for Fast Wireless Network Optimization” got accepted as an invited paper in the 2023 IEEE MASS Conference.
• May 2023: My SoReMo technical report on titled “The Forecasting and Case Study Modeling of COVID-19 in Chicago: A Data-driven Approach” was published in the SoReMo journal after a peer-review process.
• April 2023: The paper titled “Decentralized Learning of Bayesian Networks from Private Data with Applications to Global Pandemic” got accepted into the IEEE ICDCS 2023 PhD Student Symposium.
• April 2023: I participated in the Student Research Poster competition at the 2023 ECE day and won the Best Presentation Award for Ph.D. Research in Networks, Communications & Cybersecurity as second place.
• February 2023: Our paper titled "Machine Learning-Assisted Capacity Optimization for B5G/6G Integrated Access and Backhaul Network" got accepted in the IEEE INFOCOM 2023 Workshop on Pervasive Network Intelligence for 6G Networks (PerAI-6G).
• January 2023: Our paper titled "A Self-Supervised Learning Approach for Accelerating Wireless Network Optimization" got accepted in IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
• October 2022: I passed the PhD qualifying exam for the Electrical Engineering PhD program at Illinois Institute of Technology.
